English course for teenagers aged 16-19 years in Cambridge
(16-19)Learn English in Cambridge, famous for being one of the United Kingdom’s main centres of learning! Cambridge is a beautiful city that retains its youthful, student-friendly atmosphere, despite its rich history and stunning centuries-old architecture. Whilst you are in Cambridge, you must take a trip down the River Cam in a traditional punt (a flat-bottomed boat, steered using a long pole), as this allows you to see many of the city's sights from the most fantastic viewpoint!
The summer course takes place in one of two colleges which are both located just 5-10 minutes’ walk from Cambridge city centre. One of the buildings belongs to the university and is itself a wonderful example of Victorian Gothic architecture, dating back to the eighteenth century. The other is a private college in a lovely four-storey Georgian building, set in its own beautiful gardens. Both buildings offer excellent facilities for students, such as spacious and comfortable classrooms, a lecture hall, library, student common rooms and a traditional dining hall.
Courses in Cambridge
Students can opt for either 20 or 28 general English lessons per week, depending on the intensity of tuition that they are looking for. Both programmes offer a fantastic taste of life as a student in Cambridge! You will be learning English exclusively with students of a similar age to yourself (from 16-19 years) from all over the world and you will be encouraged to practice your English skills as much as possible, both in class and during the exciting programme of cultural activities and excursions. All of the teachers are highly qualified, native speakers who have a great deal of experience teaching English as a foreign language to international students of this age group.

Accommodation
Full-board student residence accommodation is offered both on and off-site. The off-site residences are located within 5-25 minutes’ walk from the school, and 5-20 minutes’ walk from the city centre. This accommodation is offered on a full-board basis, meaning that you will be provided with your breakfast, lunch, and evening meals. You will usually have your breakfast in the residence and your lunch in the school’s dining room (except during the weekends, when you will be provided with a packed lunch). Your evening meal will also either be taken in your residence, or in the school’s dining room.
Bedrooms can be single or shared with other international students from the school. Members of staff will also be staying in the residences and will be available at all times, to provide care and supervision, or for anything you might need.
Supervision
This course provides students with full supervision whilst they are at the school or in their accommodation. All students are permitted some free time and independence, particularly on Sundays, which are free days. Whilst activities are offered every evening, students can choose to go out if they would prefer. However, all students must be back in their accommodation by 23:00 at the very latest.
