French course for Teenagers, Cannes
(12-17)Located on the French Riviera, Cannes is instantly recognised for its film festival and reputation as a holiday destination for the rich and famous. However, this small French town has beautiful sandy beaches, and is ideal for younger students!
Students taking a course in Cannes study in a 19th Century building in a pleasant, residential area just 25 minutes walk from the famous “Croisette”, the seafront promenade and area famous for the film festival. Teachers live on-site and the campus has its own sports facilities.

Courses in Cannes
Students have the choice between taking a course of 20 lessons per week or a more Intensive course of 26 lessons per week. The additional 6 French lessons focus on oral communication and are taken in smaller groups. Each French lessons lasts for 45 minutes.
Lessons are taught in French, by native French speakers, so students have plenty of opportunity for immersion in the language.
Accommodation
For those looking for a total immersion in French culture, host family accommodation is available in Cannes. Students have their lessons, lunch and activities at the school. All other meals are taken with your host family.
Accommodation is also available in the school's on-site residence, which can accommodate over 150 students and is equipped with a swimming pool, self-service cafeteria and sports grounds (football, volley ball and basket ball courts). Students stay in shared rooms with one bathroom shared between two rooms.
Supervision
This programme includes a high level of supervision. Students ages 13-15 are allowed out until 19.30 hours, and students aged 16 and 17 years can stay out until 23.00 hours once a week (twice a week if staying with a host family), and until 01.00 hours on Friday and Saturday if parents provide permission. Students with permission for free time in the evenings are always taken to Cannes in the school bus with their activity leaders and are returned to the campus by bus at the appropriate time.
Activities
This programme includes an extensive programme of afteroon activities, with at least one full day and one half day excursion every week. During the week, typical activities include sports, sailing and beach visits. At the weekend there is a full day excursion to places such as the nearby “Aquasplash” amusement park, Monaco or Antibes. Evening activities are also arranged for students staying in the residence.

How to get there
Airport transfers are provided free of charge from/to Nice airport or Cannes train station for students arriving on Sundays and departing on Saturdays.
