Positioned between wonderfully unspoilt forests and the pristine waters of Lake Constance, Radolfzell is an attractive medieval town. The eye-catching gothic cathedral dominates the skyline, watching over rows of white-washed houses with red tile roofs. Summer is the perfect time for swimming in the lake, or just relaxing in the sun as you watch boats make their way across the lake.
Our school in Radolfzell enjoys a fantastic location, next to the Radolfzell City Gardens, and offers stunning views of the historic heart of the town. The school building has three floors and the basement acts as a student common room. There are eight comfortable classrooms, a computer room/study, multimedia room, language laboratory and cafeteria. You can also access the Internet, free of charge, at various locations in the school.
Courses in Radolfzell + Football
Your German lessons run during weekday mornings, from 8:30am to 12pm, with each class lasting 45 minutes. With small group sizes of just 12 students, you’ll receive plenty of individual attention from your native German teachers, who all have years of experience in German language tuition. The language course is designed for beginners or those with a rudimentary level of German.
You can take our German course with football coaching in Radolfzell, even if you’re a complete newcomer to the sport. The two-hour sessions cover all aspects of the game, from the most basic passing techniques to scoring goals! Upon completion of the training program, you’ll receive a certificate from the German Football Association (DFB). You’ll spend just under two weeks of your summer holidays learning German and playing football with us.
To engender a team spirit at the summer camp, you’ll stay with your fellow German language students in the sports hall at the training centre. Male and female students have separate accommodation.
During the week, you’ll have three meals a day - breakfast, snacks and dinner at the training centre, and lunch at a restaurant in Radolfzell. Half-board accommodation (two meals per day) is provided at the weekends.
On this course, you’ll benefit from 24-hour supervision, either from your teachers, your football coaches or carers. Your carers stay with you in the sports hall accommodation, so there will always be somebody around to help you if you have any problems.
So that you get to know your new classmates and team-mates, the course includes evening activities and a whole-day trip. Supervised activities such as swimming, log fires and night walks also give you the opportunity to practice your German, and appreciate Radolfzell’s beautiful surroundings!
If you’re aged between 11 and 14, and interested in learning German whilst you pick up some football skills, this is the perfect course for you! Our Radolfzell school offers you an idyllic location in which to spend a fun-filled summer!
