German + Skiing course for Young Students, Radolfzell
(15-17)Combine German lessons with skiing in beautiful Radolfzell on the shores of Lake Constance! Radolfzell is a small, quiet town which offers students serenity and security in which to learn German. However, there is no need to worry about being bored during your course, as this area of southern Germany offers action-packed excitement, thanks to its proximity to both the world-famous Black Forest and Lake Constance, the largest lake in the German-speaking world! Lake Constance is where Germany, Austria and Switzerland meet and this area of Europe really does transform into a winter wonderland, making it the perfect choice for you if you wish to ski at the weekend!

Courses in Radolfzell (Winter)
You will have 24 German lessons per week, which will be taught by fully-qualified, highly experienced teachers who are all native German speakers. The teachers are very experienced in teaching students of your age and will make sure that the lessons are fun and engaging. This is a total immersion course, so it will be taught in German from the outset, which, in our experience, is certainly the best way to learn.
Accommodation
Student residence accommodation is offered on a full board basis during the week and on a half board basis at the weekend. Included in the course price is a ticket for local public transport. The student residence is just 20 minutes’ walk (or 10 minutes’ by bus) from the school and is comprised of shared apartments, usually of 4 bedrooms. Each apartment has a shared bathroom and kitchen.
Supervision
This course is designed for students aged 15-17 years, which means that students are allowed some free time, usually in the afternoons/evenings and at weekends. However, staff are always available to support students and the curfews imposed by German law must be adhered to. This means that students under the age of 16 years must be in their accommodation by 10pm. Students aged 16-18 years must be back in their accommodation by midnight. There really can be no exceptions to this, as the safety of students is of the utmost importance.
Activities
If you are taking a course for a minimum of 2 weeks then each full weekend you spend in Radolfzell you will be able to take part in a full-day of skiing in the Alps! Included in the course price are transport, equipment and ski clothes.
In addition to this, the school arranges other regular activities, such as cinema trips, bowling, swimming and ice-skating.
Suitability
This course is suitable for students aged 15-17 years who wish to learn German with students of the same age group and have the opportunity to ski at the weekends! Students are allowed some free, unsupervised time, usually in the afternoons/evenings and at weekends, although staff members are always available for students who require assistance.
