Spanish course for Young Students, Malaga
(15-20)The Spanish Summer course for older teenagers in Malaga takes place on a private campus within walking distance of the beach, with a private swimming pool and on-site student residence. Students can stay in the on-site residence, in host families, or in shared student apartments (students of 18 years and over only). The school has private gardens, a cafeteria, dance studio, self-access multi-media study centre, cinema, 25 air-conditioned classrooms and a high standard on-site student residence (rooms with private bathrooms). This is an ideal location in which to learn Spanish, within walking distance of the beach, and enjoy the wide range of sports activities and on-site facilities on offer. Students have free time in mornings, evenings and weekends to enjoy the beach and go out.
Courses in Malaga
Students can take a 2, 4 or 6-week course. Spanish lessons take place between 16:00 and 19:00, which is particularly suited to those who like to combine their studies with a good social life! The activities take place in the mornings or early afternoons, though there is also a good amount of free time. All teachers are fully qualified and experienced in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
Accommodation
There are 3 types of accommodation available, with the most popular being the ‘Club Hispanico’ on-site student residence. You can stay in a single or twin room, with private bathroom/toilet. The pool is just 50 metres away, as are the sun terraces, the restaurant and cafeteria. There is a 24-hour reception on the ground floor of the residence, as well as telephones and laundry. For total immersion in Spanish, we recommend staying in one of the school’s carefully chosen Spanish host families. Or, you can stay in self-catering apartments, sharing an apartment with other international students from the school. These apartments are only available to students over the age of 18.
Supervision
There is a 24-hour reception at 'Club Hispanico' and students are always supervised on activities. However, students are not supervised during their free time.
Activities
The full program of sports and activities includes beach football and volleyball, swimming, table tennis, and more. Most of these activities take place in the mornings or early afternoon. Students have a welcome party, an introduction to Salsa and Sevillana dance, tours of the historic centre and every two weeks a full day excursion (included in the course fees) at the weekend. There are also boat trips and visits to a local water Fun Park. Students can also watch films at the on-site Cinema and go to parties and flamenco shows.
Suitability
This Spanish Summer Course is ideal for students of 15-20 years who are looking for a Summer Spanish course at a beachside location with other students of a similar age, including organized activities, but also with a good deal of free time to go to the beach and socialise.

There was a good balance of activities/free time and classes/learning time.
The accommodation was good. Our fan wasn't set up when we got there so we had to wait a day to get someone to set it up for us. Other than that the accommodation was satisfactory and was very comfortable :)

The course was excellent with brilliant teachers who really understood the level of spanish that I was at. The lessons were interesting and engaging.
The accommodation was excellent as well. Perfect location being next to the school and lounge space was great for socialising. Excellent pool.
It was an amazing experience and I hope to do it again next year. Only negative was that I wasn’t there for longer.
