French course in Chamonix, France!
Chamonix is a winter sports paradise! Take a French course in Chamonix and you can enjoy slopes that are perfect for skiing and snowboarding. Yet this beautiful town, situated close to Mont-Blanc, is great for more than just winter sports. Conditions here are also ideal for paragliding, rock climbing, hiking, rafting and much more!
Even if you’re not feeling particularly active after your French lessons at our Chamonix school, there are endless things to do in your free time. A cable car will take you up to the spectacular Aiguille du Midi mountain, which offers absolutely incredible views of the Alps. Back in Chamonix, explore the town’s shops and markets – the perfect opportunity to practice your French with local residents! As the sun dips below Alpine peaks, sample some fine French cuisine in one of the many atmospheric restaurants, before enjoying some après-ski. Chamonix’s position at the meeting point of France, Italy and Switzerland makes it easy to discover other nearby locations, such as Geneva, Turin, Lyon and Annecy.
The course was well taught and the fellow students very good fun. Good accommodation, centrally located.
Tutor was very friendly and good at interacting with the group.
Loved my teacher and our other instructors. They varied the instruction and pace with multi-media, outside activities, and kept things fresh daily.

French and Sports in Chamonix!
The French commune of Chamonix sits higher than the tallest mountain in England, yet the gargantuan French-Swiss Alps tower over it still, making it a fantastic base from which to go skiing or boarding in the winter and enjoy biking, climbing and many other outdoor sports in the summer.
I visited Chamonix in the winter and could not recommend it enough! If I could go back every year I would. Very close to the town centre, within easy reach by public transport are several different resorts and slopes that cater from the complete beginner (me!) to much more advanced winter sports specialists.
