A cable car will take you up to the spectacular Aiguille du Midi mountain, which offers absolutely incredible views of the Alps. Back in Chamonix, explore the town’s shops and markets – the perfect opportunity to practice your French with local residents! As the sun dips below Alpine peaks, sample some fine French cuisine in one of the many atmospheric restaurants, before enjoying some après-ski. Chamonix’s position at the meeting point of France, Italy and Switzerland makes it easy to discover other nearby locations, such as Geneva, Turin, Lyon and Annecy.

Our Chamonix school is in the centre of town, close to the River l’Arve, a library and a sports centre with a swimming pool and gym. From our school’s well-equipped classrooms, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain landscape. There is a student lounge and terrace area at the school, as well as wireless Internet access throughout.
With a French course in Chamonix you’ll benefit from expert French language tuition. All of our school’s teachers are native French speakers, with years of experience in teaching French to foreigners. With an Intensive Course of 20 French lessons per week, you’ll quickly be speaking French with confidence! Accommodation
Share an apartment with other students from our school whilst you learn French in Chamonix. Or let our school arrange accommodation in a private apartment for you. All apartments are situated within walking distance of our school and ski-lifts, and are all fully furnished with kitchens. Shared apartments allow you to get to know your fellow students better, whilst private apartments are perfect if you prefer your own space. Our Chamonix school works hard to ensure that all accommodation meets its own high standards.
Activities program
To accompany your French course in Chamonix, our school runs a program of activities, helping you to discover France and its way of life! A typical program includes cheese and wine tasting, walks around scenic Chamonix, a trip to the Alpine museum and evenings spent enjoying French cinema. Excursions to beautiful Annecy, nearby ski resorts and a vineyard on Lake Geneva all regularly feature on the activities itinerary.
Arrival in Chamonix
From Geneva Airport (the nearest airport to Chamonix), you can either take a bus or mini-bus to Chamonix. Transfers are not included in the cost of the course.
