CILS Exam Preparation Courses

CILS, or Certificazione di Italiano come Lingue Straniera, is a qualification awarded by the Foreigners University of Siena which attests the degree of linguistic competence in non-native speakers of Italian. Recognised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as educational institutions throughout Italy, the CILS qualification is ideal for anyone looking to study or work within an Italian-speaking environment. It comprises six levels of increasing difficulty, which correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, and is used to assess the candidate’s speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
