Intensive + cultural lessons with Host family
Excellent teachers, both in terms of their methodology and motivational skills.
The hosts were very friendly and as a vegetarian I found the meals excellent.
Of the many courses I did through Apple Languages this school had the nicest building and best facilities, which included a restaurant with very cheap and tasty meals. It also has a wonderful view of the Penfeld river and it's scenic surroundings.

Course
It was very good - a stimulating teacher, friendly fellow students and I felt I was placed at the correct level. I was glad I did not join the Senior group as the level of their group was very mixed whereas with mine all the students were at a similar level. I was also glad that the course was almost totally discussion rather than hours of grammar!
Accommodation
The family I stayed with were charming - very friendly and helpful.

Lot of effort put in by teaching staff and great enthusiasm shown. Good handouts. Excellent interactive teaching techniques with lots of bright ideas. Course fun and amusing. I stayed with a family and in a lovely old house near the school, and it was extremely good value for money. They spoke French to me and provided good local food and a really comfortable room. It was delightful, and greatly added to the value of the course.

The teachers were very committed and worked energetically to provide an interesting and motivating course. The materials we used were engaging and useful. The class sizes were small and there was a good mix of nationalities which aided language acquisition. My family were fantastic. They catered to my every need, provided very interesting conversation and looked after me. Having two other students there with me was great, as I met people from countries I've never before had the opportunity to. Great food and great company. All great and thoroughly recommended.
