Spanish and Sailing in Valencia
Home to the 32nd America’s Cup, the vibrant city of Valencia is globally renowned for its sailing and famous for its impressive port. With sailing being such a huge part of the city’s culture, why not complete your language immersion programme in Valencia by taking some sailing lessons alongside your Spanish course? It couldn’t be easier with our special Spanish and Sailing course, designed for beginners and more advanced sailors alike! During the course, you will develop many valuable skills during your time at sea, such as boat handling, meteorology, safety at sea and ropework, among plenty of others!

Spanish and Sailing
You will receive 20 Intensive Spanish lessons, which take place in small groups of no more than 10 students of the same level.
In addition to your Spanish lessons, you will have 6 sailing lessons per week, held on 2 days, usually between 10:00am and 1:00pm or 15:30 and 18:30. Days and times of sailing lessons are dependent upon the weather conditions, and are therefore subject to change.
Sailing lessons take place in mini-groups of around 5 students.
Course duration: 1-4 weeks
Level: Both Spanish and sailing lessons are suitable for students of all levels of experience.
Accommodation
- Stay with carefully selected host families on a bed and breakfast, half-board or full-board basis
- Choose the school’s student residence accommodation, where you can live with international students and make friends from across the globe
- If you want to live with other students but enjoy your independence, opt for one of the school’s shared apartments
- Choose to stay in a studio apartment if you prefer your own space
Activities
Discover Spanish culture with the help of our school’s extensive activity programme! Activities are arranged on a weekly basis and vary each from week to week, but typically include: city tours, welcome parties, picnics on the beach, museum visits, film clubs, dance lessons, tapas tours, and so much more!
