Between the DELF and the DALF, there are six levels in total, which correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exams themselves are designed to assess the four main French language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and the results prove the candidate’s overall proficiency in French.
If you need pass a DELF/DALF exam to obtain a formal qualification to work, study, or live in a French-speaking country, then why not ensure that you are as prepared as possible by taking a DELF or DALF preparation course at one of our many French schools? Not only are these courses designed to improve the four main aspects of the French language, they also aim to expand your vocabulary and grammar knowledge, in order to reach the level required to pass the exam. During your exam preparation course, you will often learn about French history and culture, both of which are key elements of French language-learning.
You will be taught by fully-qualified professionals (all native French-speakers) who are familiar with the structure of the exam and will be there at all times to answer any queries you may have. You will also have past exam papers at your disposal to familiarise you with exam-style questions and to give you as much practice as possible prior to taking the exam. Some of our preparation courses also include mock tests in real exam conditions, so you won’t have any surprises when it comes to sitting the actual exam!
