The test itself is comprised of four sections, in correspondence with the four main language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Although you cannot pass nor fail the TestDaF, a minimum mark is often required for entry into German universities, and this mark may vary depending upon the course you choose. TestDaF examinations take place just 6 times each year, and it is recommended to take the exam in February or April-time if you plan to start your university course in September. As there are few test-dates each year, availability is limited, so make sure that you sign up within plenty of time!
Are you planning to take a TestDaF examination to gain access into higher education? Then we can help you prepare with one of our TestDaF exam preparation courses, offered in many of our German schools! These courses are usually comprised of Intensive group lessons and either mini-group or private classes. The Intensive lessons aim to build on your general German skills and improve your overall language level, and the mini-group lessons focus specifically upon preparing you for your TestDaF examination. These courses courses give you the perfect opportunity to prepare for your TestDaF examination in the company of like-minded individuals, allowing you to exchange hints and tips with your peers and gain handy advice on answering exam-style questions. What’s more, you will be taught by experienced professionals, who are all very familiar with the examination and will be there to offer any help that you may need.
Many of our schools also offer exam preparation courses for the TELC and GOETHE Institute examinations. Contact us today for more information about our German exam preparation courses!
