The country’s capital city, Santo Domingo, became the first Spanish colonial city in the Americas and was founded in 1496. The famous Colonial Zone is not only home to one of our Spanish schools, but also home to the first church, monastery and castle in the New World! We also have a second school in Santo Domingo, which is located in the University Zone.
Our third school in the Dominican Republic is located in the small town of Sosua, on the country’s northern coast in the province of Puerto Plata. This location is perfect for those who are enjoy watersports, as it is famous as a location for snorkelers and divers! Just 15 minutes away is Cabarete, often cited as the windsurfing capital of the Caribbean!
