We understand that these all-important tests can be daunting, but there’s no need to worry. Our preparatory courses combine general language classes - which help you to improve your skills in all areas - with focused sessions covering exam vocabulary, topics, and techniques. In all lessons you’ll use multi-media resources to strengthen your grasp of your chosen language. In your focused sessions, you’ll study in small groups that give you increased interaction with the teacher and more opportunities for language exposure and practice. You’ll also work on past papers under the careful guidance of our teachers, which will give you not only the knowledge but also the confidence you need for when you sit the real thing.

The language classes are combined with a variety of fun social activities in the afternoons, evenings, and at weekends. These are all given in your language of study, so you can maintain your immersion and thus benefit as much as possible from your stay. As well as sports, beach/park trips, and group meals, you’ll also gain an insight into the culture and history of your study location through visits to local attractions, culinary workshops, dance lessons, and more.

The icing on the cake for these courses is the opportunity to combine your lessons with immersive lodging in the homes of local hosts. Hosts are native speakers of your language of study and will only speak that language with you. In their home, you’ll get exposure to foreign-language radio, television, and music, as well as insight into authentic local culture. Most packages include half-board lodging, which is not only cost-effective but also gives you guaranteed interaction with your hosts in the evening. You can book a single or twin bedroom and can share with your friends or relatives if you’re travelling together. These courses can be booked on a course-only basis if you prefer.
