A day out in La Falda, Cordoba, Argentina
Last Monday, my roommates and I had the opportunity to spend the holiday in honour of San Martin in La Falda, a little town in the Sierras of Cordoba and very close to the capital city, around 80 kilometres.
Encircled by mountains, this town offers plenty of opportunities and a lot of things to enjoy and explore nature. La Falda has inspiring mountain scenery. The region shows an irregular land full of hills and has a wonderful microclimate, ideal for outdoor activities.
First, we visited the Hotel Eden, where the famous scientist, Albert Einstein spent a few days in there! Following, we rode through devoured pathways of the mountains. In the afternoon, a really friendly taxi driver drove us to a very lovely place, called “Seven Waterfalls”.
On the way back, we took the same route as the cars of the Rally world championship! Unfortunately, at the end of the day, we didn’t have enough time to explore one of the three famous caves that the school had told us about. However, I still stay two months more in Cordoba!
