When I was looking for a summer course in Spain to continue with my Spanish lessons, I didn’t know where to go. Should I look for a place with a beach or should I (considering that I would go for a month) go to a big city where there would be more to see and discover?
I decided to go with the second option and spend one month of my vacation at the Madrid (Retiro Park) school. I don’t regret my choice at all, as there are really so many things to do in Madrid that you don’t miss the sea at all!
The school I studied at is right next to Madrid’s most famous park, Retiro, and is very easy to find. The teachers are all young and, apparently, very devoted to what they are doing, as classes are always fun and interesting. There are also many after class activities for you to choose from, such as Spanish culture lessons, danse lessons, excursions to nearby touristic spots and more.
Leaving Madrid you will have met many interesting people from all over the world, have lots of new memories, and have definitely learnt Spanish!
