DELE Exam Preparation courses
We often have students ask us about the possibility of taking a language course that will provide them with some proof that they have attained a certain level of Spanish. All students receive certificates of attendance at the end of their courses and this usually includes information about the level reached. However, these are not officially recognised qualifications.
If you do need an internationally recognised proof of your level of Spanish, then you may like to consider taking a DELE exam. Recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, as well as many international organisations and run by the Instituto Cervantes, DELE stands for Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera.
We arrange language courses and accommodation abroad for thousands of clients each year. The majority of clients have an excellent, rewarding, safe and fun experience but we would always advise people who are travelling abroad to book comprehensive travel insurance.
We are often asked by students about our recommendations for accommodation and I can honestly say that if want to make as much progress learning a new language as possible, staying with a host family is the best option!
Recent shock headlines in the UK have brought to attention the need to make sure all your papers are up to date when you travel abroad. We at Apple Language Courses would always advise that you take comprehensive travel insurance but you should not be forced to pay for private treatment when in a European member country. Some European member countries have been accused of trying to avoid paying for state medical care for UK citizens abroad by not accepting the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
