A postcard from Hamburg
Here is a short postcard describing my time here in Hamburg. Using the German that I have learnt in a week and a half I think I have got a typical day for me covered nicely 🙂 I would also like to apologise for those reading this with an advanced level of German but hopefully you are still a little impressed!
Liebe Alle,
Dien Peter
and the translation… remember it´s not the brilliant content but the fact I can write it all in German already!
Dear all,
My time here in Hamburg is fantastic! I get up at 7:30 and eat breakfast at 8. I am in the school from 8:50 to 13:00. Then I go for a wander (around Hamburg town centre) and eat lunch with my friend. There are many nice restaurants in Hamburg!
In the afternoon I go shopping and sometimes meet with my new friends. I take the train home and often sleep (also in the afternoon). My girlfriend finishes work at 6:30 and in the evening we like to do lots of different things! Unfortunately I am leaving on Saturday.
Best regards
From Peter
Wow! you are now saying. What a beautiful story. Okay, so I admit it´s not the most exciting postcard ever but I hope you have a better indication of what can be achieved in less than two weeks. So what are you waiting for? Come and learn German in Hamburg or check out all the other locations on offer!

Hi Peter
Your German is pretty good! After one week and a half already! Imagine how good it will be after attending further courses. Keep practising!
