Learn French in Paradise!
This photo tells you everything you need to know about Guadeloupe!
With white sandy beaches surrounded by palm trees, clear blue skies and warm turquoise sea – a true island paradise awaits!
During my visit, I loved speaking French with the friendly locals, eating great Caribbean food and working on my sun tan!
Guadeloupe retains a very French atmosphere and you will still see people buying their daily baguette from the boulangerie and paying in Euros whilst the French ‘Tricolore’ and EU flags both hang side-by-side outside the town hall.
The school is just 5 minutes walk from the beach so as soon as the morning lessons are over, that’s where most students head for!
Otherwise, there is plenty to see and do on the island. Keen on sport? Why not try golf, surfing or jet skiing? Otherwise, you can visit a colonial fort, explore a rainforest or go shopping in nearby Pointe-a-Pitre, the island’s capital with all the shops you would expect in mainland France.
I really enjoyed my time in Guadeloupe as I’m sure you would do too!

Do you offer French immersion courses in Martinique or Guadaloupe for Older Adults 60+?
Thank you for your comment Andree!
As long as you are over 18 yearsold you are welcome to attend either of our French language programmes in Martinique or in Guadeloupe.
We have had many older (60+) students attend these programmes in the past. Neither specifically cater to a 50+ course, however. Our Club 50+ French programmes take place in France in Antibes, Bordeaux, Montpellier or Nice.
You can find more information on these specific programmes here: Club 50.
I hope that helps and we look forward to hearing from you further!
