Buenos Aires, Argentina where I’ve chosen to learn Spanish.
I arrived in Buenos Aires a week ago and started my Spanish course. I’m really happy with the home the school has chosen for me. All the people in the school are very friendly and kind. We had a great time, especially when we played football and visited the River Plate court field and the Chinese neighborhood. I’ve also eaten a lot of empanadas and bifes de chorizo in different restaurants!
I’ve been to incredible places in Buenos Aires, like La Boca, Palermo and Recoleta. My Spanish is improving a lot since I talk everyday with my classmates and the host family I’m living with. Next week, I’ll start an Internship in Buenos Aires to practise my Spanish at work.
Buenos Aires is a lively city where people are very fond of foreigners. The climate is really nice too. I really like to taste different kinds of foods, because food in Buenos Aires is really good, especially bife de lomo and ice-cream. I can’t wait for the next football game!

Hi Alex,
That sounds so nice! I wish I was in Argentina right now, enjoying a good football game under the sun!
I also heard the Argentineans were very kind and welcoming people! It’s interesting to read you saying that as well!
Hopefully I’ll be leaving for Argentina some time soon!
See you at the next football game!

Buenos Aires sounds like an amazing place. I’ve heard it’s very different from the rest of South America.
Enjoy your time there!!
Hi there Alex,
My name is Kirstin and im doing one of the apple languages exchange programs in January, i will be doing a three month course in Chile, Peru and Bolivia. Im just wondering if everything is going well with the arrangements you made through this site. The teachers, the school? if you could let me know how everything is going for you that would be great as booking over the internet can always be a little touch and go. thanks that would be great!

Hey Alex!
Everything sounds amazing! I sure want to visit Buenos Aires for a long period of time, maybe next year after I graduate (hopefully). I think a few weeks in Buenos Aires won´t be enough to explore the many things Buenos Aires has to offer.
Can´t wait to have a taste of the original Bife de Lomo AND off course with the perfect red wine of one of the vineyards near Buenos Aires 😉
