Greek – or, for that matter, any language with a different ethnography – is notoriously difficult for speakers whose native or most-commonly-used language utilises the Latin alphabet (for those who aren’t familiar: that’s your ABCs, as opposed to your АБВs).

We’re often asked whether we arrange courses for young Irish students who are preparing for the Leaving Certificate. As we are based in the UK, it’s a common misconception that we only arrange courses for British students. This definitely isn’t the case! Here in the UK we’ve been experiencing a heatwave for the last month or two, and it’s getting hard to remember a time when we couldn’t leave the house without a coat or an umbrella.
It’s common knowledge that having a good grasp of a second language opens many doors. This is true whether it is work-, study-, or leisure-related.

The Italian province of Lucca seems to have it all: Rolling Tuscan hills, beautiful beaches on an incredible coast line, where you’ll also find the carnival town of Viareggio (home to our beautiful Italian language school) and last but not least, Pietrasanta, with its pristine medieval buildings, and fascinating art history.
There are a lot of major cities in the UK but none is greater than London. The UK’s capital, London is more than just a big metropolis. It is truly unique and depending who you talk to, one of the most important cities in the world. London can be described as a country of its own, not only because of its massive size but because of the many different people and cultures that call this place their home.
