My favourite places to eat in Rome

I consider Rome as my second home. This is where my best friend lives and I try to visit her at least a few times per year. Thanks to her Roman knowledge, I have, over the years, got to know a lot of insider places that only true Romans are able to appreciate.

It’s often nice to be able to go to places that are mostly tourist-free. I will be recommending these places, which, I hope you will agree, is always interesting!

Top six food-related places in St. Petersburg!

Hello everyone! One of my best friends comes from Moscow, Russia. We see each other a few times a year. It’s not possible for me get a visa for Russia every time we want to meet up, so we mostly see each other in Germany, where I live. This is convenient for her as she holds both German and Russian citizenship.

However, I stayed in Russia with my friend for a little less than a month last year and got to discover various parts of this fascinating country, including the magnificent city of St. Petersburg – now one of my favourite cities in the world!

Gastronomic specialties of southern France

Hello everyone! This post is going to be all about gastronomic specialties from Provence and a little bit beyond. I love food and have been about a bit. You might say that I know a thing or two about the gastronomy in this region!

I grew up in a town in the Var region called Grimaud, which is about an hour and a half away from Aix-en-Provence. My paternal grandmother is from Toulon in Provence. My paternal grandfather grew up in Strasbourg and his family was from Bordeaux. My grandparents on my mother’s side are from Toulouse but have German origins.
