Las Fallas de Valencia

If you are interested in cultural festivals in other countries, the lively and colourful spring festival Las Fallas (Valencian: Las Falles) in the Spanish city of Valencia should be on the top of your list. You will be delighted by this spectacle and it will give you a unique insight into the Valencian culture!

The festival, which is also known as Las Falles de San José (The Falles of Saint Joseph) was even declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016. The locals celebrate this festival every year in March with the main festivities taking place between the 15th and 19th of March.

My favourite places to eat in Rome

Top six food-related places in St. Petersburg!

Hello everyone! One of my best friends comes from Moscow, Russia. We see each other a few times a year. It’s not possible for me get a visa for Russia every time we want to meet up, so we mostly see each other in Germany, where I live. This is convenient for her as she holds both German and Russian citizenship.

However, I stayed in Russia with my friend for a little less than a month last year and got to discover various parts of this fascinating country, including the magnificent city of St. Petersburg – now one of my favourite cities in the world!
