   I am over 50, French but British resident for 40 years. I have a few notions of Italian but would like to start with a course for beginners at Sorrento on 10/10 followed by an intermediate course in Florence on 24/10. Happy to stay with hosts or in a comfortable residence (swimming pool/ tennis courts much appreciated) and have plenty of cultural activities. What would you suggest?

      Thank you for your enquiry – I would be happy to help you find the right Portuguese course!

      Unfortunately our Portuguese schools do not offer a Club 50+ programme, but you would be welcome to attend one of our general language courses or a course of private lessons which are suitable for students of all levels and have start dates every Monday.

      For Portuguese, you can choose to study in either Portugal or Brazil, and each school offers a range of courses, including our standard ‘intensive’ programme of 20-25 lessons per week, private one-to-one lessons and even, in some locations, Language & Surfing! During your trip you can choose to stay in a student residence, shared apartment, or lodge with a local host family.       Thank you for your enquiry – I would be happy to help you find the right Spanish course!

      Our courses are totally immersive, taught by native speakers educated to degree level. The language of study is the only one used in the classroom and, as such, the focus is on improving conversational skills as well as developing grammar and written proficiency. Have you studied Spanish before?

      Our Club 50+ programmes are generally available in Spring and Autumn, although the school in Nerja does have some availability in July and August. The programme is specially catered to older students, with smaller classes and a great selection of activities available

      Thank you for contacting us regarding our Club 50+ programme in Nice!
      All programmes run from Monday to Friday with accommodation generally from Sunday to Saturday. These specialised Club 50+ programmes are available on set dates (as above) and can be booked between one and four weeks, depending on the location. We also offer French Club 50+ courses in Montpellier and Antibes. However, you are welcome to attend our standard group courses for adults in Paris and/or Lyon, starting on any Monday throughout the year.
      We will also send you the relevant information via email, but please feel free to contact us with further questions at any time.

      Dear Wendy. Thank you for your enquiry. Our German school in Kitzbuhel has a reduced Club 50+ programme starting on 1st June and 31st August this year. You can read more about this here: Kitzbuhel Thursday 4 June is a public holiday in Austria and the school will be closed on this date. Please be advised that although the school in Kitzbuhel offers a senior programme, this is a small school and low student numbers sometimes mean the experience isn’t the same as it might be at other busier schools. Whilst this programme is primarily intended for students aged 50 and above, depending on the level, some classes may also include younger participants. The school also offers an activity programme two or three times a week, which usually includes conversation sessions in a relaxed setting, such as a coffee shop, a shared dinner, or a walk through the town. Many participants really enjoy the small family-run school and the intimate experience it provides, but we do feel it’s important to mention this in case students have attended language courses in the past and might be expecting larger student numbers and a more structured activity programme. You are also welcome to attend any of our other German language schools in Germany that run group programmes for students aged 18 and above and we’ll be happy to help you with any further questions.
